The dreams of a young girl started back when she had her own horse in the backyard, trained and showed this horse through the years. People in the area started asking for help with training their horses and riding lessons for themselves.
Sally went on to work for several different farms, training and showing horses at local, Regional and National competitions.
During those years of training with Appaloosas, Quarter Horses and Arabians and giving lessons, Sally's own horses along with those in her care earned Regional & National Titles.
The start of Shaw's Training Center was the after effect from hurricane Andrew, when Sally had to relocate from South Miami to Davie, Florida.
Lots of hard work and fun went into building the foundation for Shaw's Training Center now relocated from Broward County Florida to Citra Fl. just 20 miles north of Ocala.
There has been so many young riders through the years that have passed through the barn doors of Shaw's Training Center and some have even followed their dreams and have become trainers themselves.
Sally is no longer training but still enjoys having horses in her life. The farm is now a boarding facility and the "guests" are treated as family.
The photos below are from the fun times the kids and adults alike have had riding, showing and being forever friends with Sally Shaw.
